sciath na scol football final

There has been huge excitement in Scoil Mhuire for the past week as the preperations took place for the Sciath na Scol Football Final. Having seen off all their competitors in the quialifying stages we were all so delighted with the team that made it to Pairc Uí Chaoimh.
They trained so hard under Ms Fahy for the past couple of months and all their work paid off!

On the big day all the children got into the spirit and there was an air of excitement throughout the school!

Juniors-First Class waved the team bus and supporters off.

If there was a trophy for the best supported school, Knockraha would most certainly win it!. All the staff were so proud of out wonderful pupils. They were all amazing representatives of our fantastic school.

Of course the final word goes to out to our amazing team of girls who did themselves, their families and their school proud. While the result was not the one we all hoped for on the day they showed themselves to be worthy finalists and fought until the final whistle.
